Terms of Use — QuickSign

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the QuickSign – Sign PDF Documents mobile application ("App") provided by Butler Labs LLC ("Butler Labs", "we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Butler Labs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

2.1 Subscription Terms

QuickSign offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

2.2 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

2.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Butler Labs has no ability to issue refunds directly.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Rent, lease, or sublicense the App to any third party
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App or our servers

4. Intellectual Property

The App and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Butler Labs LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. On-Device AI Processing

QuickSign uses on-device machine learning (Apple's Vision framework) to detect signature fields in PDF documents. All processing occurs locally on your device. No document content is transmitted to external servers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BUTLER LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUTLER LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF BUTLER LABS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Butler Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

10. Apple — Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

11. Apple EULA

To the extent the App is obtained through the Apple App Store, these Terms are in addition to and are not intended to replace, modify, or exclude the standard end user license agreement set out at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Carolina.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
